can you put a pet in your house?

okay i know you can put pets in your house on wizard101 ( i also know there is a limit of how many you can put inside or outside) but i still dont have a pet here so i was wondering when i get some can i put the extras in my house or do they just stay with me? i want to know because im planing on getting some soon and i dont like having tons of pets on me taking up my backpack space. if you can help me thanks for telling me.

No not yet. It is in the 'Commonly Requested Items' which generally means that KingsIsle is working on getting it into the game. I understand your concerns. As it is I may have to create my sixth pirate just to have an extra backpack for my pets and mounts.
