how do i get back a sold item

I accidentally sold my nefarious gun(the one that the nefarious musketeer uses) How would i get it back?

I was kind of surprised by this answer. Does this mean I may have a chance of getting the nefarious knives that I lost when I deleted a character? (I went through the inventory of the character and the bank, I grabbed everything, but now those knives are nowhere to be found, and I know at one point, they were on that character).
