Is Mighty Warriors Robe good(absorb robe)

My friend thinks it is really horrible, and keeps telling me not to use it.I have other friends who farmed months for it, and think its really good.I got lucky and got it on about my tenth try.But is it worth using?

If it has a Valor's Armor ( absorb ) for your class, then it is useful ( especially for PVP ) the best thing about this power is that you can use it on companions or team mate, unlike the other shields that Buccaneers get, which are personal use only.
