Item-Catspaw's Watch Cap

I was editing the wiki at Pirate101 Central, and it appears that there are possibly two items called "Catspaw's Watch Cap" with differing stats. Both are Swashbuckler, level 1+, so it might just be that KI has changed this item completely? The earlier version from Dec 2012 had the ability Gunnery and a +2 Damage bonus. The newer item has Epic Strike and +1 Damage bonus. The earlier cap looked like a stocking cap, the newer one is the large-brimmed hat with feathers.

Is it possible that this item has just undergone a massive makeover? Or are there two separate items?

The original version from 2012 was retired, so it will no longer be dropped.
