I know I'll probably get the " that would be telling", but is there a chance that we actually won't ever reach el dorado?

Well, there's always a chance...

But take heart - we've given El Dorado such a build up that if we were to suddenly pull a twist and not end up going there, we'd be heavily obligated under the Rules of Good Storytelling to do something even cooler.

Once they figure out what we can do afterwards, I'm sure we will reach El Dorado. We have at least 3 more map pieces to find and 2 pieces to get (or at least look at) from the Armada so it will be awhile before we get there (or so I think).
