Too much gold?

I just finished a quest battle and got a tip message to the effect of "It turns out you really can have too much gold!" The rest of the message was cut off by quest dialog and the tip isn't listed under tutorial tips. Is there a limit to the amount of gold you can carry?

The current gold cap in Pirate101 is 100,000 gold.

The current gold cap is 100k, and it wont tell you as you approach 100k.

The verbal warning is set around 65k, it seems to accomodate non-subscribers (capped at 70k?)
Might be nice if it warned us again approaching 100k which is the cap for subscribers.
