So I know you can't morph a Reddrum to get a better one so is there any way to increase it's pedigree?

No. You'd have to improve the pedigree of the resulting Grouper offspring.

Increase pedigree by morphing with a higher pedigree pet (any kind). You might even get a higher pedigree Reddrum.
