Glitch eggs

So I morphed Heck Kitty with Bunnicorn and got an all blue Hopping Egg. I thought it might be a hybrid but when I check my pets it turned out to be an regular Bunnicorn. -_- You can image my disappointment. What's up with these glitching eggs?

I've had a Glowfish come out of a dark blue slimy egg and heard similar stories with different eggs/pets from friends, so I think it's just a bug.
