As I recall, this was one of the most difficult hybrids for me to morph - it took me over 30 attempts. I hope you have enough gold to continue if you are as unlucky as I was. I would be happy to help you, but I'm not normally in the game in the evenings.

PS - you can eventually get your own Ebon Spectre from Pet Wrangling if you can't find a morphing partner.
