Maximum pets?

Is there a maximum number of pets you can be training, or is the limit based solely on the total that your backpack can hold?

Just as you can send every companion other than your First Mate off on orders, I believe that you are only limited by your energy and backpack space. I have one pirate who has all of the pets in his pack (2 1/2 pages) either training or ready to Finish at any given time.

I don't know why they would build in any sort of limit to training like that.

you can train as many as you want - however you only have so much energy to work with for training so that is what will limit you.
