I couldn't find the pop culture reference thread, so I'll just post this here:

'Can't rememver if this one was already spotted, but I found a Scooby-Doo reference in the silver mines on Cooper's Roost. There's a boss at the end of the mine named Old Bird Jenkins, which is a pun on the titular Old Man Jenkins seen in multiple shows. When defeated he says, "The silver...I almost had it. And I would've gotten away with it, if it weren't for you blasted pirates." which resembles the common Scooby-Doo phrase "And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" I found this pretty interest. I wonder what other hidden references are still out there...
