Do swashbucklers get elusive for free?

I just started my new Swashbuckler companion the other day and I noticed they do not get elusive. Does anyone know if they do elusive? And if so what level?

No, they do not. They have to use practice points.

They don't get elusive, you must train it ( spend a training point ) with the Commodore ( privateer trainer ).
