I wonder if there is some plan for this in the future. It seems that we don't get the option to get main characters from the crownshop until their part of the narative is over. The fact that we can't get Catbeard may mean he still has a role to play in the next expansion. I'm still holding out hope that Blind Mew and One-Eyed Jack will become available as companions so I can put them with Ratbeard and complete my developer avatar set.
