Bonjour mes amis!

What aspects do you think a pirate should have?
Is it nobility or treachery?
Is it a taste for yum pie or a taste for gold?
Is it cunning or downright stupidity?
Is it strength or planned actions?
Is it being able to hold you breath for thirty seconds or being knighted?

You tell me.

Au'revoir mes amis! Bonne chance!

Any or all of those things. Pirates did not tend to fit the standard navy, and got into piracy many different ways. They are a diverse group and could be strange. Sometimes they acted as agents of their countries so even a knighting or being given a royal governorship was possible.

Nobility or treachery? It simply depends on the situation for me. If it's my dark side speaking, probably treachery (but NEVER against my friends!). But if it's the kindhearted side, nobility.. Maybe.

A taste for Yum pie and gold are both fruitless (and a huge pun). A taste for double yum and berry pie is better.

Cunning is what I'd say makes it in many cases, as it is required to play the game of stupid. If you're playing stupid when you're in a fix, you need a bit of cunning to know how to get yourself out.

As for me, neither strength or planning helps. Just improvise and whack 'em with your musket. (Or sword, flail, banana phone, or pomegranate grenades.)

Breath holding definitely. If I didn't have that, I'd be a dead fox. Which would not be fun.

Ciao!
