Stormgate travel

Do you think that it is possible to make it a choice wether or not you want the ship ride between worlds? Like in wizard101; marleybone boat ride. You can choose not to do the ride. Key x to skip ride.

While it would be convenient, I don't think it would be an option. Unlike the boat rides in Krokotopia and the airships in Marleybone, which are for pleasure, Stormgates have enemies in them. So in other words, the Stormgates are a challenge to pass through, plus a goal for some quests. I'm not saying I like sitting through a Stormgate ride, but I'm just thinking realistically.
