Why does my Privateer get TWO Inoshishi Chiefs?

Why do Privateers get two Inoshishi Chiefs (one's a Buccaneer and the other is a Swashbuckler)? I got the Swashbuckler Inoshishi Chief after completing the quest This Little Pig. I got the Buccaneer after completing Hog Wild.

I guess they got a little lazy with titling the companions

Hehe, just kidding. Not sure, does seem odd to have 2 Chiefs on your team.
