card redemption pets failed?

Hi, I purchased 2 $10 cards from dollar general today (the ones split between w101 and p101) and when my level 65 swashbuckler went to accept the gift, I got an error message. It keeps telling me that the item failed to redeem. Can anyone from KI tell me what's going on with them please? thank you

Ahoy!

I'm sorry you seem to have encountered this item redemption bug. As a work around, other players have mentioned logging out and back in or switching characters to see if that helps. If you still can't redeem the gift, please send an email to support@pirate101.com as we work toward a solution for everyone.
