Corrupted Celestial Dragon Armor

I have noticed that the Corrupted Celestial Dragon pet's Armor is considerably lower than the normal Celestial Dragon's or the Vermillion Dragon's Armor for pets of the same level. Was this intended? To my mind, the dragons high armor is a great reason to train one up to max level, but the corrupted dragon currently has armor comparable to a skarakeet of the same level.

Perhaps the corruption extends to the armor?
