Marleybone Dungeon Glitch

My friend and I were in Marleybone and we were in the dungeon where you got through the elevator and defeat Armada troops and stuff like that. I forgot what its called. I think it's called Central Core?
Anyway, my friend and I were playing and we defeated the first wave of Armada troops to activate the first switch. I went to the other side to get some Yum-Yum fruits and I went back to the switch and it wouldn't let my friend or me activate the switch to move on. I even went to Skull Island and teleported back to her and it didn't work.
Can you please fix this? I don't want this to happen again or to other pirates. Thanks!
