Minimizing

I have this problem:when I try to play the game it minimizes when I unminimizes it it goes back for a bit then minimizes again does anyone else have this problem

I did for a little bit, but the game would not stay maximized long enough to even select a pirate. When nothing else worked, I rebooted the computer and that seemed to fix it.

You might try defragging the hard drive. I've had some weird problems like not being able to land at docks and this seems to fix it.
