Ordaz encounter problem

Inside the Valley of the Gold Monkey, when I went to challenge and defeat Ordaz, I find to say that he's not a Water Mole Sumo before and during the fight, but a Water Mole Spearman instead! He doesn't even fight like one. After I defeated him, he mysteriously turns into just as he was supposed to be, a Water Mole Sumo. Please correct this so he'll be just like what he was once again.
