Random weapon drop

I got a weapon called coup stick set from the 2nd fight fighting Duck of Death. It doesn't say anywhere that this weapon drops from him, and my friend who was actively fighting with me didn't get it. This has happened a couple of times before with different weapons while fighting Duck of Death. I assume this is a bug...
