So I saw that Wizard's test realm has a thing in the PvP waiting area where you can watch random monsters fight each other. It's not working anywhere near properly yet, but when you do iron it out, I would suggest something similar for Pirate.

The pet sparring arena is already visible from Circus Maximus, so set up a battle board for random pets to battle each other down there.
