bonnie anne range bug

On my secondary character I recently upgraded bonnie anne to fox sniper. something I noticed shortly after was that her range didn't improve; it remained at 4 tiles. On my first character, she had a range of 5 as a sniper. is this a bug, or something that changed in the last update? if it is a bug, is it a known bug?
