Buyable mounts with gold??

I think Pirate101 should add the feature that wizard101 had where you can buy mounts with gold. Does anyone know if they will add this?

In the latest update, they added a vendor who sells temporary mounts for gold. You can find him in the commerce area of Skull Island. I can't remember if they added any others.
