Scorpions are a bit hard to kill.

I having a great struggle against scorpions in the game. Their dodge is so high it hard to hit them. Even if you use your entire group to pick them off one by one some of them will use poison can kill your entire crew over time, not including their extremely good damage output. Please tone them down a little.

Scorpions become a lot easier when you level up and your companions level up. If they are hard, come back to them later, they are supposed to be taken on as you level higher though you may have their quests when you are around level 18 they are really level 24 or so opponents.
