Teleported off of docks into the ocean?!?

I recently got to Monquistitora (Or however you spell it again), and I found a glitch.
When I went onto St. Bonobo's Abey's docks, I noticed my ship was gone, and the docks where quite crowded. So when I got my ship out, instead of still staying where I was on the docks, I got teleported into the ocean?!? My ship was there, so I luckily was able to teleport there.

Something like this happened to me. I teleported onto a random ship on the docks. After I was on the ship for a few seconds, I was in the ocean. Not sure why or how though...
