A Question About Boss Loot

I'm farming Captain Blood and I've been wondering about something for a long time. Does his stuff only drop from the chest that appears from him specifically (Usually having a fancy design or different shape/color), or can the boss items also come out of the chests that appear from the normal enemies that spawn in with Blood?

Boss loot comes from boss chests ( & the second chance chest ).
