Congratulations Dr.Sam for making Lieutenant.
We all love your posts Sam and your personal poems are a delight to read and I am sure causing a bit of envy each time someone gets a delightful Ode from our favorite Bard Dr. Sam. Your writing is highly imaginative and because of your excellent editor Anne, they will be as informative and accurate as hers. From delightful role play to spontaneous fiction to your phenomenal odes and your graciously eloquent way of showering us with blessing and encouragement, your promotion is beyond deserved.
x Raises a tankard of Yum in honor of Lieutenant Underhill x
x Sends yet another keet off to the bakeries of the Highlander Fox for Loads of Lieutenant chocolate treats and anything else that Sam has ordered and you know is a favorite of his. Sends Parrot mount to carry the gold to keep the accounts ahead in preparation for all the coming promotions. x

Many thanks Madame Chrissy. Now I'll have to waddle on home after all these goodies!

Um, Cap'n?

Yes Ratbeard?

I'll just stow these supplies we liberated in the hold.

Supplies?

Nothin' to worry 'bout. I'll take good care of it.

Now I'm worried. Wait a minute, aren't these the party supplies?

Are they?

Go to your room, you rat! Bonnie Anne, Subodai, let's get this party started!!!

Okay, Sam, I suppose this merits a limerick. Ahem:

There once was a pirate named Sam -
"A lieutenant pirate, certainly I am,
I can wittily write,
And am good in a fight." -
His admirers say, "Oh, you are our man!"

(Hmm. Needs work. Oh well, no one said it had to be a good limerick! )

Well I love it. It describes him to a "T".
