Congratulations Sam you have just accomplished what I have only seen Virtuous Anne Radcliffe do, You have more yarrs than posts . It is a rare thing to see that a prolific poster can be loved more that they speak. You two are in a league of your own. x Bows deeply with a delightful flourish of my hat (a move learned from Anne herself). Well done Sam. You Yarrrrrrrr truly special.

I'd like to thank the Academy. I'd like to thank all the little people that made this moment possible. I'd like to thank my Mom and Dad. I'd like to thank Mother Earth for supporting life as we know it. I'd like to thank William Shakespeare, well I can say no more about that. I'd like to thank Gilbert and Sullivan. I'd like to thank Chef Boy-ar-Dee. Oh My Goodness I am in serious pain from laughing so hard
The best reason is from one you could have never known. My late husband worked for the Academy Awards and I used to get to go every year. I used to help my hubby at work all the time and he was the Academy historian and he often spoke of the many speeches he has heard and the records each has broken or carved a place into the books with. He would have SO appreciated your speech and would have been rolling off of his chair from just reading it. I cannot wait to get to Heaven and share this one with him. Consistently and not surprisingly, another classic from you. Lol another one for the record books. x Wipes giggle tears x

Chrissy,

I am pleased beyond words to remind you of those happy times with your husband, however accidentally. It sounds as if we would have gotten along splendidly. So here's a toast to him. Cheers!
