Crusher Lair Rare Weapon Drop Rate

I was wondering if the rare weapon drop rate in Crusher Lair is affected by the number of players in a battle. For example, is the drop rate higher if four players are playing versus two players? Please let me know at your convenience.

I believe drop rate is unaffected by the number of pirates. I've received weapons from only solo runs.
