Another of my long shots but john avery and english pirate i think is captain avery in pirate101 he crashed or sold his ship in the bahamas which skull island is close to america if its in the bahamas in the game

His name was Henry Every, but, yes, you're right, Captain Avery is a reference to this historic pirate!

Captain Avery's first name is Horace, so even that is the same first letter as Mr. Every!
