So Frogfather has posted on his board. He said some things that had plenty of ambiguity, so that means it's time to boot up the analysis machine(if only I had one) and see if we can hypothesize some things. So, the most direct thing he said was "battle, boats, and buddies". ... right. Well, that means the combat system is seeing some change. Either something is being added, subtracted, or changed. Based on the order of his words, it's not out of the question to think we're getting Ship PvP. I have more ideas but I want to hear some of your ideas before I say anything else.
