Pirate Puppet Caption Contest Voting

It looks like KI forgot to end the voting for this contest back on November 26, 2012. As of today (11/28/2012) people were still casting votes. Will those extra votes count in the final tally? If so, I would like to ask my friends to remember to make a last minute vote for my entry.
