Who is Jobu?

I noticed that lots of witchdoctor stuff start's with Jobu's _____ and I was wondering what the name's (is it a name? must be some crazy parents ;D) witchdoctor significance is. Was he Vadima's first pupil or was he with Vadima back in Darkmoor? Jobu.... weird name.
