Why not a Viking world? After all Vikings acted like pirates and raided. There could be a Greenland island and a Vinland island also an Iceland island. This would follow the Viking history and go along with the pirates theme a little bit.

Grizzleheim, in Wizard101, has a viking theme to it. I don't know if KI intends to use it in Pirate101 though.
