We had a lot of fun in May with Pirates De Mayo, the Morph-a-thon, and more! We’re excited to have you playing Pirate101 during your summer vacation, so be sure to keep us informed of all your adventures. Thank you for playing, and read on.
Rogue's Gallery: Phule
We’ve been spotlighting a few of the Armada Elite, and hope you’ve enjoyed this closer look at a few of the more notorious members. This elite member you might have already encountered in Valencia at the Tomb of Marco Pollo! He’s a very mysterious metal man with strange antics sure to leave you scratching your head.
Welcome to the Pirate101 Rogue’s Gallery. Subject, Fan Flanders.
Fan Flanders was born to a small farm on Webston’s Island, one of the many small Islets that dot the skyways of Marleybone. The Flanders were tenant farmers and led a hard life, one made even worse when the Lord Baron Bufo of the Island sold their farm from under them in order to cover a gambling debt.
Broke, the Flanders moved to the coastal town of Cramshire to live with relatives. Fan and her sisters grew up in the crime ridden slum of Frogbottom. After her parents were sent to debtor’s prison Fan became the only source of income for her siblings – first by selling sky clams, then flowers... and then by becoming one of the best pickpockets n Frogbottom.
As time went on Fan graduated from picking pockets to becoming a cutpurse of uncommon skill and later still the best frog burglar (like a cat burglar but quicker on the bounce) in Cramshire. And each “job” she pulled helped her get her sisters a little farther away from Frogbottom.
Alas, no thief’s luck lasts forever. Both of Fan’s sisters had been married off to likely lads when she saw an opportunity to enact revenge for her poor parents – a chance to steal the signet ring of the Lord Baron Bufo himself – but just as she approached the safe that held the ring the lights came on and she was apprehended by the City Watch.
Fan was consigned to Newgate Prison but soon broke out, swearing Vengeance on Baron Bufo. She bought passage on a Wharf Rat ship bound for Skull Island. Once there she sought out Morgan LaFitte, an old acquaintance from when Fan first became a burglar. Upon hearing her tale a woe, Morgan made a fateful suggestion: Why not take up Piracy?
These Pirates and more await you when you play for free at Pirate101.com.”

Morph-a-thon
Bestia was the place to be in May! We had a very special Memorial Day Weekend Morph-a-thon in Pirate101.
We loved all the feedback you gave us on the event and all the hype generated by our fan sites!
Since no new hybrid pets were found during the Morph-a-thon, Decius Duelmaster hopped on to the official forums and gave a new hint.
Congrats to all of our winners! See the full list of results on the KingsIsle Blog

We were happy to see Edward Lifegem returning to blogging about Pirate101, and even more impressed with his big NXP/Scrip farming party!
The Two-Headed Wizard gives his Top 10 list of worlds, music, and companions in Wizard101 and Pirate101.
This was an overlooked thread with a lot of potential! Why not weigh in on what you’d like to see in a Ship Instance in Pirate101?
Do you have a Deviant Art page? Deviant Art is a great place for artists to share their fan art and talk about the thing they love. CubanCracker62 cracked us up with the “Jar of Dirt” joke Pirate101 style and christophr1 had a pretty funny idea for a Gracie Conrad/El Toro shirt.
The Feisty Orange shows off his PvP skills in Pirate101 with a fan of his YouTube channel.
It was great to see everyone so excited about the new Flying Cobra Pet that launched in May :
We were happy to see Chrissy the Blesser start up a brand new pirate in Pirate101!
Did you solo Miranda? Feel free to brag about it right here.
Valkoor is always entertaining us on the official Pirate101 Forums! Don’t miss his Moohemian Rhapsody song.
May's Days!
Did you know that we celebrate all kinds of fun days and events on our Facebook and Twitter pages? Make sure you’re following us on Social Media to join in the fun! Here’s a few of our “days” we celebrated in May:
Hello again, my pirate friends! I see you come to Madame Vadima seeking wisdom and knowledge. This time you come to me with a question from our friend, Christina FairyFlame, “is there a side quest that no one has ever completed, and if not, what is the least completed side quest?”
Ahh, let us peer into my Crystal Ball for Christina.
First, I see a symbol indicating completion! Yes, all side quests in Pirate101 have been completed before. This bodes very well for us . . . there is no challenge our pirates cannot overcome! If you’re having trouble finding all your side quests, be sure to revisit areas you thought you had completed before (I even here there are catalogs of information called “wikis,” that contain information on every quest, you may find assistance there!)
Second, I see a time we answered a similar question for a pirate like you – let’s consult the crystal ball for a who-do hoo-doo update!
It is still true that discovering Zeke’s amazing oddities is a very difficult task for many pirates. These quests are still the least completed in the Spiral:
Marquis Mark and the Funky Bunch
Dixie Chicks
The Eagles
Shonen Knives
This is most unfortunate as those quests provide valuable training points for your pirate and are a lot of hide-and-seek fun!
I see things have mostly stayed the same since the last time this question was asked, but, LOOK, the winds of change have been blowing in a few areas of The Spiral:
Skull Island – While “Message in a Bottle” remains least completed, “A Fair Trade” has become less completed than “An Eye for an Eye.”
Monquista – The crystal ball hid the secrets of Monquista from us last time. Behold! “Digging up Old Dirt” would be our least completed side-quest here. We also see that several key side-quests appear in near-by Skull Island after completing a key quest in Monquista that many players overlook! If you’ve advanced past this area, maybe you should go see Merry Read for her quest “Moms Tarnished Tea Set.”
Valencia – This was also hidden from us before, but now we see “The Curious Birds” in Sivella has not been completed by many.
Cool Ranch and Mooshu – The symbol for “no changes” appears for us, pirates.
Marleybone – Covering Tracks is still number one for rareness, however, “Where Man? Wereman!” has become our second most mysteriously uncompleted side quest.
Aquila – “Like Father Like Son” has taken the lead as most uncompleted side quest in this location, although “Caduceus, You Say!” is still a very rarely completed quest.
The vision fades . . . until next time, friends, and be sure to visit me on the message boards and leave your curious questions as well.
