Now announcing Pirate101 on the Mac!

Several players have been asking us since the release of Pirate101, almost a year ago, to make our game available on the Mac. We're happy to announce that we've made this request a reality, and now your pirates can proudly sail the skyways on a Mac as well as on the PC!

 

General Game Improvements

  • Fixed a number of loading issues and bugs that were causing players to appear bright red or fail to load altogether.
  • Added a Second Chance Chest after the second Rooke fight during The Battle of Trafalgar dungeon.
  • Henchmen hair colors now match their portrait colors.
 

Other general fixes

  • Tokens, battleboard props, enemies, and pets will no longer show as being "hired" for combat.
  • Fixed a bug causing icons to be abnormally large in the gift window.
  • Fin will again appear in cuffs behind Avery when players talk to him after completing the quest "Into the Skull Cave."
  • New players will receive a tutorial tip about using the Return to Skull Island button after collecting the Jade
  • Amulet from Fin Dorsal.
  • Lessened the visual effect from using a fuel boost with your ship to account for constant, long-term fuel boosting.
  • Uninstalling Pirate101 with Windows Vista will now correctly remove all files.
  • Updated the "Citizen Pain" instance so it is harder to agro the non-quest-related Stymphalian Birds.
  • Added an "Upgrade now" button for Free-to-play players. The button can be accessed at the top left of the screen.
  • Note: The “Upgrade Now” button will not be present if you’ve purchased crowns in the last 30 days and will not be present during combat.
