Great Volcano

The eastern end of Freebooter Island is dominated by a massive, fiery peak, visible from most of Skull Island. The Waponi tribes call the mountain Woso Wu, the House of Wu in their strange language. The Waponis live in a village at the base of the mountain, and have built great platforms around the fiery peak where they do ceremonial dances and sing songs of praise to Wu, the Fire God the Waponis worship. The great volcano is usually crowned with a plume of smoke, and sometimes it sends a rain an embers sailing through the skies of Flotsam Skyway.
