Can we trade items in game? Sure would be great after boss battle to trade items i cant use.

Similar to Wizard101, trading of items *between other players not on your account* is not allowed in Pirate101; however, sometime in the future we will be adding a Bazaar/Auction House type of feature.

I put all of these items into my shared bank, so that when I want to play through with another class, I'll have great gear waiting for me!

So far, I have seen 4 types of things that you can't trade to your other Pirates using the Shared Bank: Houses, Companions, Ships, and equipment/housing items marked No Trade.
