Trap bug

Okay so I was helping some people out who needed help and I got caught in Khotan skyway by the koi fish between 6pm and 7pm on Friday March 28 and I set down a claw trap ( the one everyone can get) and a koi went on it and it didn't go off. Is this a bug or is there some reason ( like the koi flies?) that this happend. That's all.

I think it is because they fly. I've seen this with other flying creatures.

Yup! This is as designed. Traps don't work on flying creatures like the Koi Fish you mention.
