Compromise for the Old Scratch Buff

Alright let us be honest here. The old scratch buffs are a nice power boost for witchdoctors and privateers but let's get real here its just crazy too powerful. It makes dungeons too easy and pvp impossible with an entire team buff the enemy and the other player usually doesn't even get a chance to attack before they are dead. C'mon guys that's too insane.

So here is a compromise. The spell buff power boosts should be a single target buff. That way it would take more turns to use them and it wouldn't buff the entire team at once. Let's discuss this....thoughts?

Can't speak to PVP.

But in the regular game, as someone who has/is running 18 pirates, including three level 65 witchdoctors (two before Scratch's update; one went from level 10 to 65 after the update), here are a few observations:

Witchdoctors in my experience are the weakest class. Not by a huge margin, but all three of mine (esp. the first two) have tended to struggle more than my other characters.

One of the problem is that WDs receive a large number of WD henchmen. WDs crew have terrible accuracy. (The other thing they received a lot of was animal crew, which until the recent adjustment to crew epics were also terrible crew).

Old Scratch has always been one of the weakest of the universal crew. Again, primarily the low accuracy.

Giving Scratch a buff that makes him and a WD pirate (and the Privateer) stronger - and thus makes OS a more attractive crew member - is long overdue.

My experience with Autumn (my most recent WD to hit max) certainly did not leave me with the impression that Old Scratch 3.0 is too powerful. Admittedly, I did not groan when he showed up for a fight, like I generally had in the past...

He only buffs an entire team if they are standing right next to him or if the crew is made up of WDs and Privies.
Certainly, as a SB, I am more inclined to use OS with my WDs & Privy companions ( who do need that buff ).
I don't always use these crew, because in the past they've been a big disappointment, but now they are more viable, and I can see myself using them more.
