Captain Swing's Armor grinding

Why can't I grind for captain swing's armor anymore? he doesn't appear in the battle anymore P.S I completed all the quest (main and side)

After turning in Bonnie Anne's promotion, you won't be able to farm Swing for his gear. You can try the Pirate's Regatta for a chance of getting Swing's gear, it drops there.
