Chest for gold and items - none after fight?

I assume by you 'Fixed several gold farming exploits' we no longer even get any chests to open after some fights?

I just finished several Tengu Sorcerer fights in the temple to collect the Jade egg and there was no chests after any of the 3 fights at all. Is this usual ?

I think this is the first time I never got a chest at all after several fights.
