ok i have an idea what if you hade several voice choices at the beginning of the game? like in sims! and it would have 2 or 3 choices for each gender! then ye could here the voice of your pirate and stuff!

This would put a lot more work on the voice actors. Maybe too much. Secondly, if they wanted to do that they would of had to that at the beginning. It's not impossible to put it in but it would seriously give the programmers and voice actor's tons of extra work. Besides what if you didn't like your voice?

I never thought of that, lol they would have to completely recreate the game to do that
