Ulysses quest "bring me my bow" glitch

Here's the problem. I'm working on finishing my Witchdoctor pirate and i'm at the part where Ulysses makes me fight Medusa. i get the golden apples from Medea and fight the gorgon. I win (of course) and go back to Medea. she sends me to Ulysses. i go talk to Ulysses, but there is a grey question mark above him, and when i talk to him, he tells me to fight the gorgon and bring him his bow. i already fought the gorgon. is there something i did wrong or is it a glitch?

after you defeated medusa did you collect the statue ? that you then take back to medea ?
