It shouldn't be a problem. In fact it could make things easier for you. My guess is you have done a lot of side quests to get to that level by the time you reached Monquista.

I am only level 13 in Moquista. So you should be a-okay. Actually, I agree, it should be a lot easier for you. So, no, no problem at all.
