Vanishing Chicken Miner

Ok so I got a chicken miner and he likes to vanish. Every time I go on a ship his hat, pouch, hands,mining pick and other items vanish quick and pop back repeatedly. I dont know if anyone else seams to have this problem but it is really odd. And it can get on my nerves. Please fix.

that's happened to me! I was on my friend's boat and I was putting chicken miner in the wall because I didn't like it! I wasn't sure if anyone could see it, though.
