El Toro Promotion Quest Bug

During El Toro's promotion quest, at the part where you fight Moosashi for the last time, my connection died, and then when I logged back in, I was at the life fountain with full HP, Bonnie Anne(who had entered the fight)was "dead", and the quest basically acted like I won the fight.

Is this cheating, or should I just ignore it?

No it is not cheating. It looks like after you lost connection, the battle went on without and your loyal crew won the fight for you. I suggest you take them to the nearest tavern and treat them all you yum and maybe some of The Highlander Fox's bet baklava.
