New Promotions

Ahoy all ye dashing pirates,I am Reckless Austin Strong level 65.Does anyone wonder about any new storyline or side-quest companions promotions, that may come in Book 15?What do you think?For the Mooshu starter companions I imagin them(in the future) as "Immortals",sitting around a stone table drink juice, like the Magnificent 5, when suddenly they are called and predestined to save the world from some armada beast.Waht do you think about the others? El Toro:Masked Liberator, Subodai:Horse Warlord,Sarah Steele:Mouse Blade Master?What do the rest of ye maties think?What'syour opinion?

I like the 'Immortals' idea, it gives me an awesome picture in my head :P nice job

Wing Chun being Immortal!? Oh gosh, please spare me! He's quite a pain.....

Still, I like these ideas! It would be EPIC to see Subodai or Temujin with awesome armor and even BIGGER swords!

I was thinking of this not too long ago.

El Toro, becomes a Masked Legend. His rapier receives an updated and maybe something more decorative to his cape.

Rat Beard, becomes a Dread Rat. During one of his earlier promotion quests, he mentioned losing his Parrot to the main boss of the promotion quest. I would like to see his get it back, granting him a ranged attack using the parrot in some way.

I love this idea! This might be hard for KI to do but I have an idea in my head for the 'Immortal' promotion quest:
Egg Shen [or whoever your starter is] speaks gets promoted to immortal at.. Maybe 100 since Blind Mew has said he likes to put Promotions 3 or 4 books apart. 100 might be too much but y'know. So anyways, he needs to speak with you in a Tavern cellar and they're very dark and serious (now that I think of it Wing Chun is the only one who isn't very serious), and they tell you that the Celestial gods have tasked them with a mission, a suicide mission, to journey to Cadiz and free an ally of the Celestial gods who can help defeat the Armada. All of the other starters will be there as NPCs/allies. To do this they'd have to fight a gigantic clockwork dragon by going inside of it, similar to beach-head. I imagine that since this will be like Book 18 or 19 and Blind Mew confirmed we'd fight all the Elites before El Dorado Aka Book 20, the only clockworks left at this point would be The Queen and Kane. So, the Queen would be trying to interrogate the ally of the Celestial gods, and we would have to stop her. Since everyone has a starter class, I feel like this could be a mini-battle with the Queen, since everyone would be able to participate. She doesn't die, but you defeat her and you and your starter free the ally, going back to the Celestial gods who reward your starter with Immortality and the title of an Immortal. Your starter, ecstatic, asks to celebrate in a Tavern cellar, and they say to you "Don't worry, Captain. I may be immortal but I will always be by your side." Obviously there might need to be some filler in there, like trying to actually GET into Cadiz or maybe making the dragon a dungeon. Maybe for a true final promotion your starter reaches Enlightenment and reaches the rank of "Enlightened Goose/Goat/Crane/Bull/Horse". I don't know, I think that would be a pretty neat idea. What do you think?

I like this idea a lot, although the dragon part would probably give the KI graphic designers a heart attack

Haha yeah it would probably be very difficult to do but maybe something along those lines :p Honestly I just really love the starters, especially Egg.

Yeah, sorry that I only have menu chat but only a few more years [El Dorado may be out by then ] and I'll be able to communicate better. Privateer power! I knew your name sounded familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. It's pretty cool that someone I know in game also knows me on the message boards, and vice versa :D
Maybe if you want we could run the Rooke or Beachhead fights together to get some gold!
